Lynne Costantini is a seasoned results-driven C-level media executive with a proven track record managing organizational change, driving revenue, developing innovative video and television products, services and strategies and building high performing teams. She has deep experience in the acquisition and distribution of digital video across multiple platforms (traditional television, OTT, online) and has held executive positions at a wide range of media companies including TheBlaze Inc., Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc., and Time Warner Cable, Inc. Lynne also has initiated and directed public policy and regulatory strategies that raise companies' profiles in DC and create productive forums for agenda-based discussions and consultancy with Congressional offices and regulatory agencies. Lynne was most recently President, Business Development of TheBlaze Inc., a multiplatform news, information and entertainment company founded by Glenn Beck, a position she held since March 2013. In this role, Lynne had oversight of content distribution and management for TheBlazeTV.com, an OTT direct-to-consumer video streaming subscription service, and TheBlaze, a 24/7 linear television network. By using analytics to drive actionable behavior and developing strong business cases for multiplatform distribution of TheBlaze content by affiliates, she generated and was responsible for $20M+ in annual revenue. Lynne serves as a Member of the Content Advisory Board of Layer3 TV Inc., a next generation pay TV provider based in Denver. In 2011, Lynne founded, and in May 2016 re-launched, Costantini Media Advisors, LLC providing advisory, consulting and expert testimony services to pay TV operators, television & broadcast networks, online video providers, OTT market entrants and strategic and financial investors. Lynne’s engagements focus on developing business models for new digital video products and creating strategies and solutions for complex business challenges related to distribution of digital and traditional video products, as well as review and redesign of clients’ pricing, affiliate marketing and account management processes and systems. From 2008-2011 Lynne was Executive Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Marketing for Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc., responsible for all aspects of distribution, sales and affiliate marketing efforts for its national television brands. There, she generated incremental recurring revenue of $500M across all network brands, representing a 60+% YOY increase in affiliate fees. Lynne held executive positions at Time Warner Cable Inc., the second largest cable operator in the U.S., from 1996 to 2011. From 2006-2008, she was corporate Chief Business Affairs Officer responsible for the creation of a new corporate strategic procurement function with oversight over the company’s annual $2.5B cap and op-ex spend related to technology, enterprise and business operations and commercial partnerships. By eliminating redundancies, aggregating leverage and managing vendor diversity, Lynne saved TWC over $130M in less than 12 months. From 1996 to 2006 Lynne was an executive in Time Warner Cable’s content acquisition group, ultimately serving as its Senior Vice President, Programming, responsible for all aspects of content acquisition, distribution and video product management including first-to-market licensing arrangements for content delivery. Lynne practiced corporate law at the law firms of Kelley Drye & Warren and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius from 1984-1996. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Manhattanville College and a law degree from New York Law School. |
